The Bow Valley Naturalists are programming a series this year focussing on what are known as High Elevation Localized Species (HELS).
David Hik, renowned biologist in the department of biological sciences at the University of Alberta, was the first to speak to the crowd about this topic. He shared the results of his long-term research project on collared pikas and hoary marmots in the Yukon.
