Our Commitment to Education

The Friends of Banff is dedicated to the education and stewardship of our children who live in this beautiful national park. Springtime will bring many fun, interesting and adventurous field trips to different parts of the Bow Valley in order to teach our kids about the diverse ecology, history and local culture of this fascinating area. We are currently in the planning stage for a couple new exciting trips for this upcoming spring. 

Grade 8 students will be able to enjoy and learn all about water monitoring at the magnificent Bow River this June. A hands-on approach to basic geology will be conducted in the Lake Minnewanka area for grade 7 students. The instructors for these programs will be announced later this spring.
