An important aspect of our organization is education. To educate people who visit our beautiful national park, and to foster a sense of stewardship with our children, who have the privilege to live in this special place.

Edu-Kits - these kits offer hands-on environmental learning opportunities;

Vermilion Lakes Walk - this easy walk interprets the importance of wetland habitats, wildlife corridors, forest fires and wildlife that are found in Banff National Park;

Naturalist in Residence - Oikos Program and the new Oikos Junior High Science Program, where children of the Banff Elementary School and Banff Community High School are immersed in a science-based curriculum program that opens their eyes to the natural environment beyond their doorstep;

Spot Interpretation - while you enjoy the shopping on Banff Avenue, look for our interpreters at the park next to The Bear and The Butterfly;

Discovery Packs - come and rent one of our Discovery Packs to complement your walk around the park;

Junior Naturalist Program - sign your children up for one of our guided Junior Naturalist walks;

Canadian Rockies GPS Tour Guide - listen to our GPS Tour of the Canadian Rockies as you tour the roads in Banff, Kootenay and Yoho National Parks;
